Up and Over Retracting Garage Doors

Up and over retracting garage doors are easily identified by horizontal overhead tracks either side of the garage ceiling. 

Wheels at the top corners of the garage door run along these tracks as the garage door opens and closes.

Up and Over Canopy Garage Doors

Up and over canopy doors are the most common garage doors in the UK.

They don't need overhead tracks and provide the widest opening compared to other garage door mechanisms.

Sectional Garage Doors

Sectional garage doors are made of horizontal sections that run on a track along the edges of the garage door which curves up to run along the garage ceiling. 

This style of garagae door and doesn't protrude outside the garage at any time during its opening and closing.
